She enlisted in the Navy on September 19, 1944 and served on the following ships: HMCS Haligonian from September 19, 1944 to November 13, 1944; HMCS Conestoga from November 14, 1944 to December 11, 1944; HMCS Cornwallis from December 12, 1944 to January 30, 1945; HMCSAvalon from January 31, 1945 to September 12, 1945; RMS Victoria from October 11, 1945 to February 4, 1946; HMCS Givenchy from February 5, 1946 to March 20, 1946; HMCS Naden from March 21, 1946 to March 29, 1946 and HMCS Stadacona from March 30, 1946 until her discharge on April 16, 1946.
