He served in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps during World War II from 1943 to 1946. He served in England transporting troops and in Canada on the Queen Mary. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal 1939-1945 and Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal. Lloyd is a nineteen-year member of The Royal Canadian Legion Colchester Branch 26. Submitted Independently DUGGAN, James WWII James was from Upper South River, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. He was killed in action during the Dieppe Raid on August 19, 1942 with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. He served the Canadian Army with the 7th Anti Tank Regiment in England, France and Germany during World War Two.
