NS/NU Command Dart Information
The 2026 NS/NU Command Dart Championships will be held at Kingston Branch 98, Kingston, N.S. The Doubles will start at 8:30 am on Saturday March 14, 2026. Singles play will be immediately after the doubles finishes on Saturday (no earlier than 1 pm). The Teams Captain’s meeting will be at 8:30 am sharp on Sunday, March 15, 2026 with play to start immediately following the meeting.
Any team absent from the captain’s meetings will be disqualified from play that day, unless the NS/NU Secretary is otherwise notified. Any teams not showing up at the Provincial Level without informing the NS/NU Command Darts Secretary (Kathy 902-478-8508) will have a 1-year suspension from playing NS/NU Command Darts.
The Legion will provide a full cash Canteen/Kitchen for Saturday and Sunday from lunch on!
Below is the host hotel:
- The Aurora Inn, (902) 765-3306 which is located approximately a 2-minute drive, 5-minute walk from the legion, has offered us a preferred rate.
- $125 per night plus tax for our Queen or King rooms
- Availability at present for 15 rooms on March 13, 14 and 15.
- In terms of room types we could offer up to 8 rooms with 2 Queen beds and 7 rooms with a King bed. If not booked within 30 days of event the rooms will go back into inventory and a regular sports rate will be charged ($139 for Queen or King rooms.)
- When booking call the Aurora Inn and book it under Command Darts for preferred rate.
- The Middleton Motel,1-855-825-3433 which is about 15 minutes from the legion has a sports rate of $130.
- Currently they have limited availability, for those dates, with two rooms with two beds and three rooms with one bed.
- The Fundy Spray Motel (902) 824-3424– which is in Middleton and approximately a 10-minute drive to the legion. The rooms in this motel are quite small and dated but for the budget conscious this may be a good option. Booking.com shows this venue $108 per night for that time frame.
- There may be other B&B options as well
